Professor Jasbir Arora Appointed Chair of SEI Executive Committee

Jasbir Arora, F. Wendell Miller Distinguished Professor of Engineering, professor of civil and environmental engineering, Associate Director of VSR and faculty researcher, Center for Computer-Aided, was appointed 2004-05 Chair of the Technical Activities Division's Executive Committee (TAD-EXCOM) of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers).His responsibilities include overseeing the work of more than 70 technical committees and all the technical activities of the Institute.
