Abdel-Malek appointed Associate Editor of the International Journal of Robotics and Automation

 

IOWA CITY, IA.- (January 16, 2004) – The Virtual Soldier Research (VSR) program at the Center for Computer Aided Design of the University of Iowa announced today that Dr. Karim Abdel-Malek, Associate Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and Director of the Virtual Soldier Research (VSR) program at the Center for Computer Aided Design was appointed Associate Editor of the International Journal of Robotics and Automation, one of five journals of the International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED).  Published by ACTA Press since 1986, this Journal covers aspects of robotics and automation, including modeling, simulation, dynamics, design, control, sensors, vision, speech and object recognition, and image processing.  

IASTED is a non-profit organization founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 1977. The purpose of IASTED is to promote economic development through science and technology.
