Emily Horn, Graduate Student

Emily Horn is a Mechanical Engineering graduate student studying under Karim Abdel-Malek.  She graduated with a BSME from Valparaiso University in 2001 and then worked for John Deere Dubuque Works as a Structural Design Engineer.  She is on a leave of absence from John Deere to pursue her masters.  For the Virtual Soldier Research Project, Emily will be working with Dr. Hyung Joo Kim on modeling the dynamics and physics of the human body.  In particular, they are working on posture, walking, and the transportation of objects with mass.
