Facilities:
The Virtual Soldier Research (VSR) program is located within the Center for
Computer-Aided Design on The University of Iowa campus. With over 5,000 sq ft of
space, VSR has a number of affiliated labs:
* The Digital Humans
Laboratory
* The Neuromuscular Biomechanics Laboratory
* The Virtual Reality Laboratory
* The Optimal Design Laboratory (Dr. Jasbir Arora, Director)
* The Computational Mechanics Laboratory (Dr. Colby Swan, Director)
* The Biomechanics and Ergonomics Facility (Dr. Nicole Grosland, Director)
* The Motion Capture laboratory (Dr. Salam Rahmatallah, Director) |

A newy renovated 2,000 sq ft is occupied by 22 VSR members.

VSR personnel will be housed in Suite 101ERF, a newly renovated space on the west
side of campus with ample parking space. |

| Virtual Reality and Visualization The VSR lab has the following facilities:

Test Equipment |

Transportation CCAD/VSR has an 8-passenger SUV for local transportation and a 7
passenger green minivan (that no one wants to drive).
