Research Assistant.

Joo Kim is currently a Ph.D. candidate of mechanical engineering and research assistant of the Virtual Soldier Research (VSR) program at the University of Iowa.  His research interests involve dynamics and control, motion planning, and locomotion of robotics, with special applications to human dynamics simulation and analysis.  This research also includes a broad area of studies such as vectorial and analytical multi-body dynamics, kinematics, advanced theory of robotics, numerical analysis, optimization theory and methods, energy methods, biomechanics, and bioengineering.  Currently, Mr. Kim is participating in the following areas of research within VSR.
