Salam Rahmatalla, Ph.D.
Salam Rahmatalla is a post doctoral at the center for computer aided design (CCAD), University of Iowa, Iowa City. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Iowa. His research interest is structural optimization and compliant mechanisms design (MEMS). On the VSR project, he is responsible for guiding the motion capture lab. The lab is equipped with an up to date Vicon optical motion capture system. The lab will provide experimental data for verifying the kinematical and dynamical analysis of a virtual human model.
